Still in the hospital, still getting meds/fluid/care there, but DONE WITH RADIATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"DONE" with the radiation. That's good news. I understand you are in the hospital, nonetheless you can go on a mental vacation. Think of beautiful places you've been to and imagine being there. I'll be thinking of you and wishing you healing and happy thoughts.

Yeah!!!!! I am so happy for you. You have cleared a huge hurdle! I hope you just rang the heck out of that bell!! I am praying that this week you have a chance to rest and get to feeling a bit better. I am sure it is rough right now but just know that there are sooooo many people pulling for you! Keep up the great fight!

Done, Finished, Over, Kapoot! Hooray, hooray, radiation is behind you AND you did it!! Silly dance, big yahoo, lots of smiles. Now rest my dear, rest and regain your strength. Part one battle over and I am so happy for you.

Hi Serry!!! Haven't posted in a while, my son has been back in the hospital as well, but I'm so glad to hear that you're done with the radiation. So sorry to hear that it hurts to swallow. That was one of the hardest parts of my son's hospital visit, was that his procedures kept him NPO a great deal of the time and the poor thing just wanted to EAT! So I understand. Here's what helped him... I had him make a list of all the things he wanted to eat as soon as he could again and it seemed to ease it a little. And you know what? When he could eat again, he wanted waffles and gravy!!!! Anyway, keep it up, chica. I'm rootin for ya.
