Tired

Hi all..

Just got an update on Serry. She is pretty worn out... still hurting from the tube, still having other difficulties related to everything else. Please keep her in prayer. This is supposed to be a recovery time and that's what we NEED it to be... time to recover. She has numerous doctor's appointments tomorrow, so hopefully they'll be able to help with medication, food, treatment, whatever she needs to be HEALING.

Thanks for your support... You're amazing.

Happy Winter Wonderland... Snow is everywhere...

hi serry, how is it going today. Were you able to enjoy watching the snow. It really was beautiful. I have 14 chickens now in a coop out behind the barn. They are not to thrilled with this snow. I have a heat light in their coop, but now they are confused, they don't know whether to go to bed or stay up late!! They're not much on reading so they just stand around & make poop!! Hope you are feeling better each day. We think of you often and hold all of you in our hearts. love judy

Hey there!

So, lesson learned, fiber bad, icecream good, right?

I got snowed into work today, and have been so bored bored bored! When have you known me NOT to have a book around? But, not today or last night! So, been working on my *cough*knitting*cough* I mean, you know, changing my tires and stuff... *look around to make sure none saw that* hehe and now I'm back infront of the bright box that entertains me for 10-12 hours a day LOL

Today was supposed to be midnight to 9am, but I got too bored and started early. One can only knit, I mean, change tires for so many hours!

Thinkin of you!

Hey Serry, just wanted to wish you good luck today at your doctors appts. I hope things are going the way they should be and that they can make you more comfortable. Hopefully they will get the feeding tube figured out and that you will get the rest and recovery time needed.

I have to tell you I think I have been trying too hard to make it feel like Christmas down here in Texas. We have been listening to Christmas music since before Thanksgiving. No mind you I love it, but this morning as I was cooking breakfast for the kids, I had the music on. I was quite enjoying myself, when Natalie piped up saying "If I hear the "Pa rump a pum pum" song (Little Drummer Boy)one more time I am going to scream!" I had to chuckle cause apparently everyone but me is getting sick of the music.

Everyone in WA keeps talking about all the snow and the pictures of it look just beautiful. But it just doesn't feel like Christmas here when it is 75 degrees outside! Anyway, it is too funny how kids are. One minute I am having a great time, the next minute my 6 year old is totally popping my bubble!
Well, have the best Chrismas you can and I pray that the new year brings you lots of healing and a clean bill of health soon!
Love, Brandie

I think I've only HEARD the Drummer Boy song about twice this year. And I'm with you, who can get sick of Christmas music? Ha, this summer I had several instances in which I had the song "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" TOTALLY stuck in my head. I have heard a few annoying ones though...can't think of their titles offhand. Anyway.

Serry, good luck at those appts today, and I am saying a prayer that they can get you the help you need to be healing.

So. I made it home today (thursday) and am working from home tonight. Funny thing about changing tires? I had a flat when I went out to the truck to warm it up, so I eeked it down to Les Schaub and it turned out that I had a piece of metal stuck in my tire. See what I get for playing with tires?!? LOL

~warm hugs~

So, Mom said there's about 17 inches of snow down there... how are you holding up? We've got about 6 good inches here after a bit of thaw today, I'm working from home again. There's no getting up our hill in this mess!

Whatcha doin in all your spare snowy time?
