Serry

It has been a difficult few days for Ser and the rest of us. But now that we have a treatment plan, I expect things to settle down a bit. Ser did pretty well yesterday with her 2nd. radiation treatment. The rest of the day was family and friends stopping by to visit her. And just for her Mom, there was not a smile to be seen all day.... :))

Today I'm taking Irene and Kaitlyn up to see her. Irene has not been able to get up to the hospital because she is taking care of her Dad who is recovering from a serious accident earlier in the year. Ser's sister Kaitilyn needs to get some time with her "big sister".

And for Ser, How do I upload my iPhone picutres again? I can't seem to get them to upload.... :)

Serry, you have been in my thoughts and prayers everyday since we heard the news! I am so glad that Emily has set up this blog for you! I have been wanting to call and checking in to see what was being done, but I know you and your entire family have been a bit pre-occupied with finding the right treament. I will be checking in constantly to see how you are doing. It sounds like you are in good hands with doctors that have treated this before!
I do wish there was something we could do, but please know we have a lot of people down here in Texas praying for your speedy recovery!
Take care!

Well I have asked my church to keep Emily and Serry in Prayer along with the rest of the family. May the LOVE of JESUS shine in the both of you. I really hope that better days come forth your way. I know exactly what it feels like to be in this position. Remember if a hug is needed, I am there for you Emily. Serry if you need more encouragement I am there as well.
As one christian to another, I believe thats what keeps us strong through the tough times.

HANG IN THERE!!! Believe that Jesus makes all things Possible and heals those who believe!!!

Hi Serry,
Another greeting from Pullman! I've been thinking so much about you and remembering different things, like when we first met in Dr. Staab's Middle Eastern history class (little did I know you would be working in my college soon!). And when my screen at home was not looking so great, I thought of when you patiently helped me set up my new monitor here at work. You are appreciated and loved more than you know, Serry, and I'm hoping you can feel the support and good vibes coming from your work family. Take care.

I'm glad to hear there's an expert so close (even if he is from UW!). I also hope the doctors can come up with the perfect combination of chemo and radiation to knock this sucker outta there!

All of us in Pullman are pulling for you. You and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself.

Serry,

Our friend Sandy just told me about you. No wonder I haven't seen you wandering the halls of Todd when I've been on my way to class! I've missed you. I'm praying for you and will only think positive and happy thoughts for you. Get well and come back QUICK! We miss you and love you.

Love, Janet McGough

Dear Serry,

You have a treasured smile. Keep that smile on because this rough patch is a passing phase. I am looking forward to seeing you back at school....in the meantime I will try not to stack up too many IT queries for you:)

Best wishes,
Abhishek

Oh, my... no smiling, Serry! That must be one of the hardest parts! I've never seen you without a smile, no matter how busy and stressful the CB gets! Well, do your best to keep your face wiped clean of expression! Think.... Botox! Did I ever tell you I had Botox just before my surgery last year? They didn't want the muscle from the jaw to above my right ear to work, so they shot it full of Botox. And it worked. No wrinkles above my right ear! Of course, it was under my hair, and who could tell? BTW, don't let anyone ever tell you it doesn't hurt to get a Botox shot. They would be lying!
Guess I should get back to work! Sending you warm, sunny wishes from from the CB, Ann
