What friends!

Emily here... I just want to say thank you again and again to all of Serry's friends and loved ones... All day long there were more and more comments on here--it just blew me away! Serry... WE LOVE YOU and are WITH you through this whole thing!

I haven't personally seen Serry since Friday (both my Dad and I caught a cold and no sickies are allowed with her!), however I still get reports... Serry apparently looks fantastic--I'm not sure I could pull this off while still looking like a rock star like she is. It also sounds like some of the numbness in her face is going down... I'm looking forward to THAT--and having some sister giggle time again. :)

Anyway, keep the love a'coming! Serry--you're becoming my hero!

Serry,

I know what you family is experiencing and through my mom, I know a little about what you are going through. I am still at a loss for the right words, but I will try.

You are a special person, and special things happen to special people. Focus on you, be selfish and keep your chin up. You were the backbone of OT the past year and a half and you will be missed in that capacity, but we will be ok. Worry about you and you only.

Thank you for being who you are. I am praying for you and your family.

Sincerely yours,

John Mangiantini

Hey Serry. This is Jesse. Grettings from OT. It's nice to be able to follow things on your blog! I'm glad that Greg and Dar made it out there to see you this weekend, and I wish you all the best with the treatments. Praying for you, and I'll be looking forward to cooking up another excessive meal for you at the Neunherz's! Keep on trucking.

Hey Serry,

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your treatments go well and that you are able to recoup your strength. I'm glad you are surrounded by such support.

I'm not quite sure what to say... but I have a picture of the rafting trip in my office and I just have to laugh. When you need a pick me up - remember the trip and all the fun we had playing Dutch Blitz. -Jill Zuber

Hi, Serry,

Just found out that you are in the hospital. No wonder I did not get to see you recently. There is a saying in China: those who help others will enjoy the good fortune and luck in return. I am sure that you will recover soon. Be confident and strong. We miss you here at WSU.

Hi there Serry and family, It is Jim and June Yockey (your cousins) again. Grandma and Grandma Yockey send their love too. We read them the comments on the bog, and we are all amazed by all the love coming your way. Last Thursday it started to snow and snow and snow. Think we ended up with about 2 feet. Red Lodge, Montana had 40 inches in 24 hours. It really looked like Christmas, especially with the full moon. Stay strong, and each day is a day closer to your feeling better, and we continue to lift you up in prayers. Hugs from all the Yockeys across the U.S.A.

Dear Serry,

You are a dear, sweet woman who is very loved and missed here at the CB. I know through the CB grapevine that there is one great big cheering section devoted just to you and your battle against cancer. Let our encouragement and prayers help you every day and know that we are here for you. Every day is a day closer to recovery.

Hey Serry,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. You are a wonderful person and I am sending much love and health your way. Take care of yourself and get lots of rest.

Since I always tell you stories about my children...I thought I would throw one your way. I was praising my son and tell him how great he was doing on his homework this year. How impressed I was that he was taking it upon himself to be so responsible etc. He responded that he hadn't done so well with his homework in kindergarten. Of course, being me I asked why not? His response left me speechless...Here it goes...Mommy I think it was because we lived in a apartment and not a house. If we had been in a house I am sure it would have always gotten done. :) Hope that gives you a smile.

Take care Serry!

Hi Serry,

We send our love, positive thoughts, and prayers. We, too, have fought cancer for the past few years and know that it can be beat! The name of the game is FAITH, HOPE, and the WILL TO FIGHT!! We have known you since you were born and know that you have what it takes! Thanks for the great blog site that will, with the help of Emily, keep us updated as to your progress.

Love & Hugs,

Hi Serry,

You are in our thoughts and we can't wait to have you back in our midst. We will have to do without your smiling face and kindness until you are back on your feet. Take care of yourself, and stay well rested.
